How Our Silk Filled Duvets are made

 

 

All our silk filled duvets are individually hand made, using the finest quality 100% mulberry silk. The filling consists of silk floss which is carefully hand layed in a criss-cross pattern to ensure an even distribution throught the duvet. The result is a  perfect balance of weight, warmth and comfort. 

Silk is natural, resistant to dust mites and hypoallergenic. Our silk filled duvets also give good protection to those who suffer from asthma and eczema. All our casings are 100% combed cotton sateen percale (200 thread count).

 

 

Silk is a breathable natural material, offering extra warmth in winter and coolness in summer. For this reason it is preferable to conventional duvets.
